Hay rack rides

Here at Gross' Belgians we also offer family and group fun. Since the mid 1980's we have offered horse drawn hay rack rides to the Lincoln area. We are able to handle any size group. From small family get together s of as few as 8 people to larger groups such as Church groups, Cub Scout and Boy Scout Packs. Along with the ride which lasts approximately one hour, we have space available to have a bon-fire for roasting hot-dogs and making s'mores. We supply the wood and start the fire for your group. You supply your own food, drinks and wires or sticks for cooking your treats.

Having a picnic for a group of friends, co-workers, or a neighborhood get together and want something for everyone to enjoy. Or thinking about taking a group of people out caroling for the Christmas season. We are able to bring the horses and wagon to your event.

Just a few things to remember:

Relax behind a team of horses on a hay rack for your special event.

Our horses can travel approximately 3 miles per hour, so plan your journey with this in mind.

Driving the horses up steep hills can sometimes cause problems. We may need to find an alternate route.

Good parking for our transporter is helpful. We require approximately 65 feet of space to unload and get ready.

Rides can be chilly, even during the summer months. Be prepared to wrap up if necessary.

Our time is your time. Let us know if you have a schedule you need to keep.
